CURL CRAVE

CURL CRAVE

"Everything You Need to Know About What This CURLY head CRAVES"

In honor of fashion week I thought this post would be devoted to all things fashion! First things first...LISTEN UP BOYS AND GIRLS, I gotta fill you in on what I think you should be wearing. For the ladies, you gotta go out and get "little girl" inspired accessories. Nothing is sexier than a woman who looks like she's barely legal. It is the ultimate fantasy for most men...even if they want to pretend they don't crave it. WARNING: If you're over 40 this doesn't apply to you! There is nothing weirder than a 40 year old woman with pig tails or bow in her hair. So please don't try this look...just tell your daughter about it. Things like backpacks, hair scrunchies, bows, pouffy shirts, overalls, etc, are perfect! The cuter the better! Movies like Lolita, Lisa, The Crush, Clueless, and Girls Just Want to Have Fun are perfect movies to look at for style inspiration. For the men, it's time to bring it back ...way back. Old school is back with a vengeance! Get inspired by the 40s when men were wearing top hats, velvet, suspenders, smoking jackets, kerchiefs, and zoot suits.

Whatever you do, DON'T follow these people:

If you're going to wear suspenders..don't make the mistake this guy made and get wild with other accessories and patterns. This guy is a joke. You don't want to be too.

Mom's gone wild! This mama is so old I told her to act her own age, and she died..Don't even think about trying the "little girl look" if you have grey hair! It is way to frightening.

A few days into Fashion week I can already get a good feel for some of the elements that we'll carry through into next year as fashion trends.
1. That 70s Show- From the wide-leg trouser to the sexiest classic halter top, the 70s are back (AGAIN) in a big way.

2. Minimalism- silky, simple separates, neutral tones, white-washed palettes, and future-friendly utilitarian details are IN, so give this look a try.

3. GO LONG- fuller, longer, smarter looking skirts, shirts and dresses are going to be giving minis a major run for their money. Call it a grown-up moment; you can bet your bottom dollar that those thighs of yours will be staying nicely covered!

4. Pajama Party!- loose and lovely loungewear inspired many runway looks. Trousers paired with LACE tops and nightgown-esque dresses. While this might be a tough trend to pull off, I dare you!

5. Pass the Mustard- Now granted, only a small percentage of people will look good in this color, but if you were blessed with the right complexion, you will positively glow this fall if brilliant goldenrod pieces

6. Go get Granny- Most designers are showing head-to-toe "grandma looks" that country-club-going grannies might love, but when the time comes that you want to try this look out, just sport one plaid piece at a time.

I'm going to stop there for today, but I hope you've enjoyed  today's sneak peak into what to wear this season! Just so I don't get kicked off the internet for plagiarism I want to give a shout out to glamour.com and refinery29.com, WHAT UP SOURCES!? Make sure you've added ShervinsWorld to your bookmarks tab! You need to be keeping up with me! Also if you haven't already follow our blog! All you need is a google email to follow us..you don't even need a blog.. so click bellow!!!!
