Shervin Time

A lots been going on and I want to get right into it!  This past Saturday Charlotte and I shot a music video for Aaron Cohen!  The footage is looking so good and we are all super stocked!
Charlotte And I are heading to LA next week to get some west coast flavor on the blog!  We have some parties lined up and some places we are going to be looking to shoot some fashion photography! We are renting my place through AirBNB. I highly recommend this site if you want to rent out your place while you travel. It helps us pay for some major expenses! It's truly a life saver!
I recently saw 2 movies that I really liked! Everyone is talking about "Drive," and rightfully so.  I thought it was a lot of fun and incredibly well done! It felt like a mixer of David Lynch and Robert Rodriguez one tier down. However, I was totally into the movie but when it became a slasher film I was kind of over it.  I never really liked the exaggerated cutting, stabbing, killing.
The other movie was "The Obscure Object of Desire," a film by Luis Bunuel.  The film had me twisted! I loved it! The film is about this super wealthy man's obsession with this beautiful younger girl who is actually a virgin. The movie explores the two contradictory Demands a man has for a women.  He wants his women to be pure, angelic, delicate, as well as rambunctious, sexy, and a bit crazy!(I understand)  Bunuel does an incredible job creating the illusion of two women in one character.  He actually uses an unprecedented technique by having two women play the same role throughout the film.  It was like I was looking cross-eyed at an image and saw two different objects. Then over time my eyes adjusted and everything came into focus, hence the women blended into one! Just an amazing movie!

In terms of music I have fallen in love with Holly Golightly! Check her out shes sweet, fun, and electric! However my favorite song right now is from Dengue Fever "Sober Driver"!

Hope you guys are enjoying ShervinsWorld! We want to know what you guys are loving, and what you guys want more of! We love reading all your comments and want to be even more connected to you guys! Don't forget to enter for you chance for a awesome photo-shoot with me and Charlotte, and an American Apparel gift card!!
Much Love,
Shervin Nassi

Aaron Cohen + Shervin's World

Spent the weekend shooting a super radical music video for Aaron Cohen's latest single "Never Should Have Let Me Go"! We went to the woods of Westchester, with a crew of models, rented a vintage Plymouth and made some serious noise. The footage is looking very good and Aaron and I are getting ready to cut and paste the images together.  Stayed tuned people!!
