Movies to See in NY

There has been a great resurrection of cinema brought to you by the independent film movement.  I wanted to share a few that you have to watch! First everyone needs to watch the new Iranian film, "A Separation" by Asghar Farhadi. The acting is on another level, while the story just punctures every part of your psych.   "The Artist," by Michel Hazanavicius is also a must see. It's a silent film that is truly moving and entertaining.   I have also been hearing a lot of buzz about "Manhattan of my Own," By Nick Holmes. (Trailer above)A movie about a comedian who is given the ultimate test, money vs. pride.
Its safe to say there's a great movement of independent films saving us from  all the nonsenses Mission Impossible-Twilight twenty seven followed by Harry Potter's return of teen pregnancy movies.

I absolutely adored The Artist. I cried like a child (plus the clothes were incredible!)

Awesome read. I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing some research on that. He actually bought me lunch as I found it for him! Thus let me rephrase: Thanx for lunch!
